Yonge Street is excited to announce the newest member of its editorial team.
 
Hamutal Dotan, best known as editor-in-chief of the influential and award-winning website Torontoist, has added our Innovation and Job News section to her editorial porfolio. She inherits the beat from Edward Keenan, who has left us to, of all things, go write a book. Dotan will be covering startups, growing companies and new innovations across a diverse range of industries—anything that sees new jobs and new investments coming to the GTA. That's a big job these days.
 
"While there's a lot of gloom and doom swirling around some quarters, Toronto is actually in very good shape," says Dotan. "Our economy is dynamic and growing, and I think it's important to pay attention to that—especially because the bad news tends to attract the headlines."
