Introducing Civic Impact

This week
Yonge Street is proud to introduce
Civic Impact.
While our
Development News section covers investment in Toronto's physical form, and our
Innovation and Job News covers investment in the city's economy,
Civic Impact will cover investment in areas like the environment, community-building, diversity, sustainability, social initiatives and innovative partnerships and collaborations dedicated to the greater good, rather than just the bottom line.
Civic Impact will allow
Yonge Street to cover a broader spectrum of civic initiatives across the GTA, allowing us to respond to news more quickly than we are able to in our features section. Covering all kinds of collaborations, social contributions and capacity-building projects, the section will be a place to find out about both new initiatives and success stories.
The section will be edited by Kat Snukal, who has been editing Yonge Street's
In the News section.
We hope you find the new section informative and inspiring. Let us know what you think.
