The
TTC has unveiled renderings of Toronto's much-anticipated new light rail vehicles (LRVs). Designed by
Bombardier Inc. the latest LRV design—refined after public and expert consultation—will include, among other features, wider doorways, an accessibility ramp and a designated space for bikes. The new LRVs are scheduled to begin replacing the existing streetcar fleet by 2013
